The Provincial assessments explained for Manitoba parents

Manitoba runs provincial assessments to see how well students are meeting the learning outcomes in the curriculum. They give schools, divisions and the province information that helps guide teaching. The grades and subjects have changed over the years, so check Manitoba Education's website or ask your school for the current schedule. Provincial assessments are separate from report cards.
