The first day: accounts, French, Ontario and classrooms
- New
Accounts and the parent area
Parents can create an account, confirm their email, sign in on several devices and have progress sync between them.
- New
Ontario, plus French Immersion and Core French
Ontario follows its own curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 9, with a province switch for each child and parent guides. French Immersion and Core French were added for British Columbia.
- New
Grades 8 and 9, a placement test and parent guides
British Columbia now goes to Grade 9. An adaptive placement test finds the right starting grade in math and language, and there are parent guides, practice sheets and comparison pages.
- For teachers
Classroom mode
Teachers can create classes, share join codes and assign units. Assigned units show on children’s home screens.
- New
More rewards and a few surprises
Longer-term trophies, light vibration on taps, and some hidden easter eggs for kids to find.
- Fixed
Spelling and security
Grade 7 science now uses Canadian spelling (“sulphur”), and we hardened sign-in, sessions and payments.
