Content standard: 3.10 · rounding whole numbers to the nearest 10 or 100

  9. Unit 9

    Area & Perimeter

Finding the perimeter (distance around) of rectangles and triangles, finding a missing side, and measuring area in square centimeters and square meters.

Content standard: 3.20; 3.21; 3.22; 3.25 · measuring area with unit squares, relating area to multiplication, and solving perimeter problems

  10. Unit 10

    Sorting Polygons

Practices naming polygons by their number of sides and sorting them as regular (all sides and angles equal) or irregular.

Content standard: 3.26 · describing triangles, quadrilaterals and other polygons by their sides and angles

  11. Unit 11

    Times Tens

Multiplying a one-digit number by a multiple of ten (like 6 × 40) using a basic fact and place value.
