How we explain it
Children can open this short lesson before they practice.
- Find the jump between the numbers.
- Count forward by adding it. Count back by taking it away.
- Check the pattern with the next number.
Example: Count back by 5s: 30, 25, 20, ? Each step takes away 5. 20 − 5 = 15. Answer: 15
