How we explain it

Children can open this short lesson before they practice.

  1. Living things grow, and need air, food and water.
  2. Plants stay in one place and make food from sunlight.
  3. Animals move around and eat food.

Example: Is a clover a plant or an animal? A clover grows in the ground. It makes food from sunlight. Answer: a plant
