How Things Move

Fast, slow, up, down and zigzag!

What your child practices

Children describe how objects and animals move: the direction, the pathway (straight, curved, zigzag, circle) and the speed. They see that a push, a surface or a ramp changes the movement.

Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) teks student expectation: 1.7(A); 1.7(B) · how pushes and pulls start, stop or change the speed or direction of motion
